• Answer: A section is that part of a sectional title scheme which an owner owns, your flat or townhouse plus share of the common property.

• Question: Who are the Body Corporate?
• Answer: The Body Corporate is regarded as "all the owners" collectively of units in a specific complex.

• Question: Who are the Board of Trustees?
• Answer: The Board of Trustees is a committee of members of the Body Corporate elected at the annual general meeting, who's function it is to oversee the smooth running of the complex.

• Question: What are Conduct Rules?
• Answer: The conduct rules are a list of "do's and dont's" drawn up in accordance with the model found in Annexure 9 of the Sectional Title Act and agreed by the Body Corporate to ensure harmonious living between residents.

• Question: What is Common Property?
• Answer: Common property is the area of any sectional title scheme that does not form part of any section.

• Question: What is an Exclusive Use Area?
• Answer: An exclusive use area is the area set aside for the use of the owner or tenant of a particular section in a scheme, normally this area is your walled off garden.
